Chippokes Plantation State Park
Flying above us, as the sun goes down, are strange winged mammals that often bring thoughts of fear to the front of our minds. Bats are amazing creatures that seem to defy the odds. Amazing hearing, and the ability to eat thousands of mosquitos per night, discover why this cute acrobatic creature is something to be thanked instead of feared. Join us as we take a tram ride through the park in search of these amazing creatures. Space is limited to 20 guests. The program is free to park guests, but registration is required. To register please call the park office at (757)-294-3625. Meet us at the Farm and Forestry Museum.
