| It’s cold now and expected to get even colder later this week. Due to the anticipated frigid temperatures, particularly in the evening, the hours of the WAVE-FIELD Light-Up seesaws in City Center are changing. On Wednesday, Dec. 21, the seesaws will be open from noon until 5 p.m. Be sure to follow the Newport News Special Events Facebook page for additional time changes due to weather conditions. Don’t forget to post your seesaw pictures on Facebook and Instagram and include #NNSEESAWS. All who submit will be entered to win a warm winter beanie. Prepare yourself and your home for cold temperatures. When the temperature drops, dress warmly, limit your time outdoors, and bring pets inside.
