The 9th Annual National HBCU Pre-Law Summit & Law Expo 2022 Sponsored by The Law School Admission Council (LSAC).This year’s event takes place in Washington, DC on the campuses of the district’s two HBCU law schools – the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law and Howard University School of Law on Friday, September 16th, 2022 and Saturday, September 17th, 2022. This world-class event is offered completely free of charge. We are organizing an amazing in-person event and putting together limited virtual sessions as well.The National HBCU Pre-Law Summit is the only major national pre-law event created by an HBCU alumna especially for HBCU students and alumni interested in law school and becoming lawyers. This event directly addresses the unique issues, challenges, and concerns facing HBCU students, particularly those entering predominantly White (PWI) law schools. We also make sure that we spotlight the current six (6) HBCU law schools as potential options to consider in making choices about where to attend. - Serves as the campus expert with matters related to affirmative action within the university setting, works closely with university senior management implementing affirmative action plans, and ensures university compliance with related regulations.
