Enjoy Free Summer Concerts at King-Lincoln Park

Head to King-Lincoln Park for two free summer concerts! On Saturday, July 13, the Junkyard Band will take the stage, followed by Rare Essence on Saturday, August 17. Both concerts begin at 5:00 p.m. at the park, which is located at 600 Jefferson Avenue. These summer concerts are free and open to the public. Bring blankets, chairs, food and drinks (alcoholic beverages are not permitted). All are welcome to these family-friendly events, but please leave your pets at home. For more information on the events, visit www.downinggross.org.
While you’re at the concerts, take a stroll down the park’s beautiful new boardwalk. The boardwalk was constructed last year thanks to a planning grant from the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Choice Neighborhood program. The boardwalk gives guests, including those with mobility issues, an easy path to the beach, where they can enjoy the park’s beautiful views.
