MACY’S ANNOUNCES CHARITABLE ROUND-UP CAMPAIGN TO BENEFIT UNITED WAY OF SOUTH HAMPTON ROADS

Macy’s is committed to strengthening the Virginia Beach community as they begin the recovery process following the recent tragic events at the Virginia Beach municipal building. To assist the community’s immediate needs, Macy’s will launch a round-up campaign with the help of its customers and colleagues.

From now until Thursday, June 20, Macy’s Greenbriar and Macy’s Lynnhaven stores will offer customers the opportunity to round-up their in-store purchase to the nearest dollar (up to $.99) with all proceeds benefiting the United Way of South Hampton Roads. Additionally, Macy’s will match each donation, up to $20,000, to help support the victims and their families.
