| If you’ve been to Patrick Henry Mall, you’ve most likely seen the crowds inside and around City On My Chest, a custom fashion and apparel business. The brand’s Founder and CEO, Tommy Reamon Jr., is a native of Newport News. The former college and NFL scout first made his move into fashion in 2013 when he designed an “I’m So Newport News” T-shirt that quickly caught on. Reamon built the brand based off two principles, culture and community building. As part of his commitment to building his community, Reamon is hosting a Branding Expo this Sunday, November 14, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Patrick Henry Mall Food Court (12300 Jefferson Avenue). Entrepreneurs and business owners, particularly those in the clothing and fashion industry, are invited to this free event. Reamon’s goal is to bring brands to the table to share stories, discuss marketing, offer advice on how to recover from setbacks and deal with haters, and so much more. He will also share how he built a six-figure global in the midst of a pandemic. Registration is not required and admission is free. To learn more about City On My Chest, visit their website. |
