Ninth Annual Peninsula SPCA Fur Ball Gala: HOLLYWOOF!

Hampton, VA- This Tuesday, March 1, grab your tickets for the Ninth annual Fur Ball Gala, taking place Saturday, April 16, 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. at the Hampton Roads Convention Center. Tickets can be purchased online at www.peninsulaspca.org/furball.

This year, guests and their pets will be star struck at an amazing tribute to Tinsel town with this year’s theme: HOLLYWOOF! But the event isn’t just open to dogs, maybe we will have few Great CATSby’s that make an appearance.

Help support the PSPCA celebrate the completion of their Human Education Center and their first year as an Adoption Guarantee shelter by enjoying an evening of cocktails, fine dining, and more.

Other highlights (for our human friends) include live music by Tidewater Drive, food, cocktails, silent auction, a live auction, and raffle. Not to be left out, our canine friends will receive pet pampering at its finest, complete with a special showcase during the Red Carpet Pet Parade (the night’s main attraction!) and access to our special “Mutt-tini Bar!” Make sure to attend and get the “celebrity treatment” you and your pet deserve.

The Peninsula SPCA invites you to become a sponsor of this year’s extraordinary event and join them in their effort to raise $250,000 to help support the new mission of the Peninsula SPCA Adoption Guarantee Shelter and Education Center. Since their transition to a “no-kill” shelter, they have been able to devote more time and resources to finding forever homes for the animals in their care, and to provide educational opportunities for the residents of the Peninsula. In the past year, the Peninsula SPCA has expanded their humane education offerings and launched a new walk-in Veterinary Clinic for preventative healthcare. The organization receives no public funding, and are counting on you, the leaders and businesses of the community, to partner with them to keep the benefit of an adoption-guarantee shelter alive for our citizens and our pets.

The mission of the Peninsula SPCA is to find loving homes for every animal in our care and to advocate for the human treatment of all animals in our community.
