Summer Family Fun Day: Journey of a Plastic Bag (Keep Norfolk Beautiful)

Join Keep Norfolk Beautiful for a Summer Family Fun Day at Richard Tucker Library! These events are designed to be educational and fun for families to do together. Each event focuses on a different aspect of environmental education, litter, recycling, reuse, and beautification.
Registration is required for Family Fun Days. August 3rd event: Journey of a Plastic Bag and Story Book Making. You can register now at www.norfolk.gov/knb. Some things to know:
- A parent or legal guardian must accompany children under the age of 18 to participate.
- These events are outdoors and may be postponed or canceled due to weather. Announcements will be made on the Keep Norfolk Beautiful website, Facebook, and Instagram pages.
- Registered attendees will be notified of any changes by email.
- Dress appropriately for the weather.
- Bring water and any snacks needed.
- Please be aware that there will be peanut butter at the Bird Feeder Making craft. Sunflower butter will also be available.
- Do not attend if you are feeling unwell, have a cough, fever, test positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of the event or are exposed to someone who tests positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of the event.
