The 32nd Annual Fall Town Point Virginia Wine Festival Returns to Downtown Norfolk Waterfront

Norfolk, VA – (September 17, 2019) – The 32nd Annual Fall Town Point Virginia Wine Festival is set for Saturday & Sunday, October 19 & 20, 2019, at Town Point Park along the Downtown Norfolk Waterfront. The festival runs from 11am to 6pm each day. 

Wine Enthusiast Magazine has named Virginia one of the top 10 best wine travel destinations in the world, and the Fall Town Point Virginia Wine Festival brings together the best of the best of Virginia’s wineries, from the mountains of southwest Virginia to right here in Hampton Roads, for a one-of-a-kind tasting experience. 

This year’s Fall Town Point Virginia Wine Festival will feature more than 200 of Virginia’s finest wines from over 30 different Commonwealth wineries. Set in Town Point Park along the picturesque Elizabeth River in Downtown Norfolk, the Fall Wine Festival allows budding sommeliers and everyday enthusiasts to sample and purchase premier wine with friends and family, while also enjoying live musical performances, gourmet foods, and specialty wine wares.

NEW! to the Fall Wine Festival for 2019 is the Cork & Fork V.I.P. Grand Tasting, a celebration of amazing eats and drinks from across Virginia on Sunday, October 20 from 1pm to 4pm. Time-honored tastes and traditions come alive during Cork & Fork, including all-inclusive food and beverage tastings/pairings, an oyster bar, immersive cooking displays, Governor’s Cup award-winning wines (available only in the Grand Tasting area), local world-class chefs, and much more. A limited number of 200 tickets are available for this interactive culinary experience. The 2019 Fall Wine Festival will also feature live music entertainment throughout the weekend at Town Point Park. Festival guests can enjoy live acoustic and folk rock performances from Lewis McGehee, The Mike Proffitt Band, and TBD.

Please note personal tables of any kind cannot be accommodated on the festival grounds. Wine sampling ends each day at 4:30pm and wine sales end at 5pm. Please remember to drink responsibly and arrange for safe transportation.
