2022 Hampton Voters’ Guide

The 2022 General Election will be held on Tuesday, Nov.  8, at locations throughout Hampton. Here is what you need to know.

Deadline to register is Oct. 17. This is also the deadline to update an existing registration. Any resident who will be 18 or older on Election Day can register to vote. You can go to the registrar’s office or register online.

Early in-person voting is available at the registrar’s office weekdays from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Weekend hours will be Sunday, Oct. 16, from 1-5 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 29, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Saturday, Nov. 5, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, will be the last opportunity to vote in person before Election Day.

Applications for mail-in voting must be filed with the registrar’s office by Friday, Oct. 28.

City Council special election to fill the remainder of the term vacated by Chris Snead (vote for one)

School board (vote for up to three candidates)

                Joseph C. Kilgore – incumbent
