| FOOD LION MEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEKWarren Williams, Johnson C. Smith (Fr – Tracy, CA) Williams improved on his performance in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.03, finishing as the top DII finisher and second overall at the Adidas Winthrop University Invitational. His time is currently the second-fastest time in all of Division II this outdoor season. Williams also finished seventh in the 400m hurdles with a time of 56.76, which ranks third in the CIAA and seventh-fastest in the Atlantic Region. |
FOOD LION MEN’S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Jocolbi Morgan, Claflin
(Fr – Saint Petersburg, FL)
Morgan registered a mark of 7.23m (23’8.75″) in long jump and placed fourth overall at the Weems Baskins Relays, finishing just behind three DI competitors. The freshman from Saint Petersburg, FL currently has the top long jump mark in the CIAA and second-best in the Atlantic Region this outdoor season.
FOOD LION WOMEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Zoe Adams, Claflin
(Fr – Marietta, GA)
Coming off a strong indoor season, Adams opened up her freshman outdoor campaign with a time of 56.32 in the women’s 400m dash at the Weems Baskin Relays, earning a seventh place finish in a Division I heavy field. Her 400m time currently leads the CIAA and the Atlantic Region. At the same meet, Adams also ran a 25.28 in the women’s 200m dash, a time that currently ranks second in the conference and top five in the region.

Shania Ingram, Fayetteville State
(Jr – St. Ann, Jamaica)
Ingram posted an NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 1.70m (5’7″) in the high jump, finishing first overall at Adidas Trojan Challenge. Her high jump mark is tied for eighth best in Division II and second in the Atlantic Region while also leading the CIAA this outdoor season.
