IMPORTANT LIFE AND SAFETY ALERT
FOR FLOOD PRONE AREAS
Those who live in flood prone areas will see flooding around Monday’s 4 p.m. high tide. This high tide will be higher than what we experienced on Friday. Therefore, areas that flooded on Friday will flood again with additional areas flooding as well.
Please prepare early by moving vehicles to higher elevations such as the designated city parking garages and protecting items in lower levels of your home or business.
Please be mindful for your safety. Continue to monitor weather forecasts and emergency alerts. Currently there is no local mandatory evacuation order. We recommend residents who live in the flood prone areas to consider seeking shelter with family or friends who live in higher elevations.
All those who must be out on the roadways tomorrow afternoon and evening should be prepared for road closures and detours.
