| Please don’t be alarmed if the leaves you raked to the curb haven’t been collected. The city’s loose leaf collection is still taking place. The recent inclement weather caused delays in our leaf collection timeline, as the same trucks the city uses to collect leaves are used for snow removal. The second and final collection is already underway. Visit the 2021 Seasonal Leaf Collection website and enter your address to check progress and see if your street has been collected. If you still have questions or concerns, call the 311 Contact Center at 757-933-2311. Remember, leaves placed in clear plastic bags are collected year-round on regular bulk waste collection days.
