Friday Hours Added for Friends of the Library Bookstore
Support the Newport News Public Library by purchasing books and other items from the volunteer-run Friends Bookstore. The Friends of the Library Bookstore, located at the Grissom Library location (366 Deshazor Dr.), is now open on Wednesdays and Fridays, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The Bookstore is also open on the second Saturday of the month, 1-4:30 p.m. Shop from a wide selection of books, DVDs, CDs, records, comics, and magazines. Stock up now for winter reading! Proceeds benefit the Newport News Public Library. Pop-in Saturdays Return in JanuaryLooking for fun activities for your kids to fill the long winter months? Try Pop-in Saturdays at all of the Newport News Public Library branches on selected Saturdays, starting this month. Children ages 3-11 can enjoy free activities with no registration required.
