Loose Leaf Collection Update

Please don’t be alarmed if the leaves you raked to the curb haven’t been collected. The city’s loose leaf collection is still taking place. Crews are working diligently to complete the second and final collection, which is already underway. Visit the 2022 Seasonal Leaf Collection website and enter your address to check the progress and see if your street has been collected. If you still have questions or concerns, call the 311 Contact Center at 757-933-2311.

Remember, leaves placed in clear plastic bags are collected year-round on regular bulk waste collection days. For details on the city’s Bulk Waste Program, visit the Public Works website.
