NOTICE OF PUBLIC DISPLAY CITY OF PORTSMOUTH HOME AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN PROGRAM ALLOCATION PLAN

The US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has awarded the City of Portsmouth $1,540,476 of HOME American Rescue Plan (ARP) program funds to undertake activities that must primarily benefit qualifying individuals and families who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or in other vulnerable populations.
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Notice CPD-21-10 and the City’s Citizen Participation Plan, the City of Portsmouth has prepared the HOME ARP Allocation Plan identifying the activities that will be undertaken and the qualified populations to be served with the funds. The HOME ARP Allocation Plan is available for public inspection and review for 30-days beginning January 1, 2023 online at
https://www.portsmouthva.gov/395/Community-Planning-Development-Program. The City of Portsmouth intends to submit the HOME ARP Allocation Plan to HUD on or about February 1, 2023. Interested persons are encouraged to express their views on the HOME ARP Allocation Plan. Comments may be submitted in writing to the City of Portsmouth Planning Department, 801 Crawford St., Portsmouth, VA 23704 or via email at crimerj@portsmouthva.gov. All comments received by January 31, 2023 will be considered.
