Portsmouth Has Been Designated As a Bicycle Friendly Community

The League of American Bicyclist has once again designated Portsmouth as a Bicycle Friendly Community at the Bronze level for the 2022-2026 reporting period!

With an existing bicycle network of over 20 miles and a future network totaling 82 miles of bicycle facilities, Portsmouth is proud to accept this award eight years running.

A special thank you to all who participated in our Bicycle Community Survey in the Fall and to local advocates and organizations that have worked hard to make Portsmouth a fun and safe community for cycling!
