Demand Drives Record Industrial Growth in Suffolk Suffolk’s ample land availability, proximity to Port of Virginia, strong workforce and access to the mid-Atlantic transportation network, coupled with rising demand for distribution center space has resulted in robust industrial activity. Several warehouses are in various stages of construction throughout the city, including: Amazon’s Robotics Fulfillment Center, a 4.5 story, 3.8 million square foot building in Northgate Industrial Park, Virginia Port Logistics Park has three more buildings planned for logistics uses and Massimo Zanetti Beverage USA‘s distribution center is set to be fully operational there soon; Portside Logistics Center, Coastal Logistics Center, Westport Commerce Park and Virginia Distribution Center are others. New Business Green Clean Auto Wash is now open for business at 1521 N. Main Street, in the Suffolk Shopping Center. The business celebrated opening with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony attended by business representatives, Suffolk Mayor Mike Duman, members of City Council and other officials. They are offering specials with car wash memberships throughout the month of December. |
Now Hiring Kerma Medical Products is a Veteran – Minority Owned Company located in Suffolk.
